A Rolex watch worn by one of the survivors of the Great Escape was recently found. The Rolex had been sent to Squadron Leader Laurence Reavell-Carter in Switzerland while he was captive in the notorious Stalag Luft III PoW camp in Poland. He was one of the last men to make it out of the escape tunnel when he was shot down in 1940, and was immediately re-captured. His Rolex is expected to sell at auction for over $12,000.
