This post is a round-up of some rare and fantastic Rolex watches up for sale. Regardless of whether or not you’re actually in the market for one of these older pieces, it’s fun to take a look and see how they’ve aged over time and also how the market is expected to value them.
Right off the bat, the blog features a Rolex Daytona with an “Albino” dial that was once owned by Eric Clapton (now that’s cool on cool). In addition to its previous celebrity owner, the watch is only one of three known pieces to have an all-silver dial. The other watches featured on the post are totally worth a look too. Many of them are from the 1980s and have great patinas that scream classic vintage Rolex.
