Processing Time & Shipping

  • Processing Time

    All items are shipped from our facility FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS from the date payment is received. Please be patient as this is necessary to prepare each shipment with the very best care.

    This processing time allows us to re-examine the watch to make sure it is still in the same condition as described. It also allows us to do a final 24 to 48 hour timing. This allows us to correct any timing issues prior to shipping.

    *All packages $100 or more in value will require and adult signature for delivery!

    1. When will my package ship?

      Providing there are no holidays, the following will detail when your package will ship, If payment is received by 5pm CT:

      • Saturday, Sunday, Monday — Your package will ship Friday.
      • Tuesday — Your package will ship Monday.
      • Wednesday — Your package will ship Tuesday
      • Thursday — Your package will ship Wednesday.
      • Friday — Your package will ship Thursday.
    2. I paid for expedited shipping (ie. UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air). Does this mean I will receive it in 2 days or next day?

      No. There is still a 4 business day processing time. Once the 4 business day processing time passes, your package will then ship via the expedited shipping method.

    3. Can you ship sooner than the 4 business day processing time?

      Due to our sales volume we can not ship sooner, but on rare occasions we may be able to make an exception… but you MUST contact us to make arrangements before payment. Please remember that our normal processing time is designed to make sure all watches leave our facility in the condition as described. We want to make sure every order is processed correctly and without errors. The unintended consequence of rushing an order with a timepiece of this caliber is vulnerable to a higher degree of errors.

    4. Will the package be shipped fully insured?

      Yes. All packages are shipped from our facility insured for the purchase amount.

    5. I received my watch and it is not working?

      Please email us so we can correct the issue to your satisfaction. Occasionally a rough shipping trip and/or altitude & temperature variations experienced in transit can cause a watch to not run properly. Pressure of trapped air molecules inside the case can cause either expansion or compression on the parts of the movement. Of course, this even happens to brand new watches when the manufacturer ships to an authorized dealer…except the adjustments of decompression and calibration are usually made in the store after the package has been delivered. Mechanical timepieces are not made to be shipped due to the fragility and complexity of a movement.

        • Pay via credit card or e-check through PayPal; If you don’t have (or want) a PayPal account, you can still pay with your credit card. IMPORTANT – if choosing this payment method, we will ONLY ship to the shipping address that is stated on the PayPal payment.

      • We will ONLY ship to the shipping address provided in the credit card payment at checkout. To help guard against stolen credit cards and identity theft, NO exceptions will be made. If you need us to ship to an alternate address, we can NOT accept Credit Card payments.
      • We do NOT accept payment or ship to Russia, Indonesia or Africa (excluding South Africa).
      • We ONLY accept payments in United States Dollars (USD).

  • Affirm

    • Your Affirm account is created using your name, email, mobile phone number, birthday, and the last 4 digits of your SSN. This combination helps Affirm verify and protect your identity.

  • Bank Transfer

    • Bank wire instructions will be made available after you Checkout and choose this option, you will see these info in your receipt.
    • We ONLY accept payments in United States Dollars (USD).
    • We can ship to any address of your choosing (excluding Russia, Ukraine, China, Mexico, France, Indonesia or Africa)

Sales TAX

  • Sales & Use Tax

    Texas: We are required to collect Texas sales tax for items shipped to or picked up in Texas unless you fax, email or mail us a valid resellers permit.

    California: We are required to collect California sales tax for items shipped to California unless you fax, email or mail us a valid resellers permit.

    Sales delivered or sourced to Washington State: Sales or use tax is due on certain purchases delivered or sourced to Washington. Washington requires you to file a use tax return when sales tax is not paid at the time of purchase. This message is required under the Revised Code of Washington 82.13.020(2)(a)(i) [1].

    BeckerTime is not required to, and does not, collect Washington State sales or use tax. Under Washington State law, purchases are not tax-exempt merely because a seller is not required to collect Washington’s tax. Washington State law requires Washington purchasers to review untaxed purchases and, if any tax is owed, file a Washington use tax return and pay any tax due.     All other states:  If sales and/or use tax is not collected at the time of purchase by BeckerTime, you may be required to file and pay the sales and/or use tax directly to the state and/or local tax authorities for which the item was shipped to. Some states require purchasers in that state to report all non-taxed purchases of taxable items and pay tax on those purchases. For more information, we recommend that you consult with your tax advisor.

International/Customs Duties & Taxes

  • Customs, Duties, and Taxes

    • The Buyer pays ALL import duties, taxes, and fees… These charges are your responsibility
    • Packages must clear customs and this will take a few days.
    • Most countries charge customs duties, taxes, and fees on items being imported from the USA. You are responsible to know your Country’s importing laws and taxes.
    • Import duties, taxes, and fees are NOT included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying
    • Duties, taxes, and fees are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up & do NOT confuse them for additional shipping charges.
    • We declare all items as a “purchase” for the purchase price amount.
    • We do NOT mark merchandise below value or mark items as “gifts” or “repairs” – USA and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. We cannot risk our ability to do business by falsifying any portion of the customs documents. Please do not ask us to break the law.
    1. Will you declare the package as a “gift”?

      No. We declare all items as “merchandise”.

    2. Will you declare the package as a “repair”?

      No. We declare all items as “merchandise”.

    3. Will you state a lower amount for customs?

      No. We declare all items truthfully for the purchase amount.

    4. Why does it take so long for the package to be delivered?

      The customs process can cause a delay in receiving your package. All packages are subject to inspection by your country’s customs department. Every country is different in how they process a package.

    5. How much will I pay in customs duties and taxes?

      Every country is different. Please contact your local customs office and/or shipping carrier for the amount.

    6. Is customs duties and taxes refunded by Beckertime if I return the item for a refund?

      No. Beckertime does not refund any of the customs, duties, taxes or brokerage fees. You can contact your local customs office or the shipping carrier to request a reimbursement of your taxes and/or fees. Please note that some countries will not provide a reimbursement of your taxes or fees for a returned item.

Warranty/Water Resistance

  • Warranty

    The BeckerTime warranty applies to the movement of the watch only. Watch movements are warrantied to perform as described in the BeckerTime item description during the warranty period. This warranty does not include the battery, strap, links, clasp, springbars, case, crown, bezel, dial, hands, screws, crystal and/or diamonds. Damage to a watch due to accident, neglect or mistreatment is not covered by this warranty. Also not included is the loss or theft of the watch or any damage done by loss or theft. Damage caused by fire, pressure, water, or natural disaster is not covered. This warranty does not cover any water damage—including, but not limited to crystal fogginess, movement damage, dial or bezel damage, seals, gaskets, liquid penetration and any issues pertaining to water. Repairs, alterations, tampering, substitution and/or addition of parts, custom work and/or modification of any kind done without prior written consent from BeckerTime and not performed by BeckerTime will void this warranty. This warranty replaces the original manufacturers warranty. All BeckerTime warranties are non-transferable.

  • Water Resistance

    We do NOT guarantee the water resistance of any watch.:

    • Although we may pressure test a watch prior to being shipped, we do not guarantee any watch to be waterproof or water resistant and do not cover any water issues under any type of warranty.
    • Preowned watches can lose their ability to be water resistant or be less water resistant (compared to when it was new) over time.
    • We recommend taking your watch off before getting in showers, saunas, hot tubs, and steam rooms as they are not good for the water resistance of any timepiece.
    • Many daily life factors can contribute to a watch not being water resistant such as, but not limited to bumping, hitting or dropping a watch, accidentally damaging the crystal, or leaving the crown unscrewed near water. Statistically, this can happen to even the most careful of watch wearers.

Return Policy

  • Do I Qualify for Return?

    If it does not put a lump in your throat, you can send it back for a full refund.

    NO HASSLES, NO QUESTIONS, NO REASONS NEEDED.

    Just email us and return it so we receive it back within 30 days. We are not like other dealers where you must wait months to see the credit or refund. We process all of our returns each weekend and your payment will be refunded no later than 3 business days following that weekend. Also, unlike most retailers, we will not deduct a restocking fee. We will refund 100% of the purchase price paid for the item.

    1. Can I return the item for a refund?

      Yes. Just email us and return it so we receive it back within 30 days.

    2. Is there a restocking fee?

      No, providing that you return it so we receive it back within 30 days. The item must also be received back in the same condition with everything that was included (ie. box, tag, etc.)

    3. Is shipping refunded by Beckertime?

      No. The original shipping fees and the shipping costs back to us are not refunded.

    4. Is customs duties and taxes refunded by Beckertime?

      No. Beckertime does not refund any of the customs, duties, taxes or brokerage fees. You can contact your local customs office or the shipping carrier to request a reimbursement of your taxes and/or fees. Please note that some countries will not provide a reimbursement of your taxes or fees for a returned item.
