Dracula is now available in Harrods London

The popular and rather unique looking HYT watch company, aka Hydro Mechanical Watch Experts have released a new version of their HYT H1. If you know nothing of HYT then let me fill you in, very quickly. Rather than the use of a conventional hour hand, the boffins at HYT have engineered a way using bellows as part of a watch movement to move a coloured fluid and a clear fluid along in fine capillary like structure. All this to tell you what hour you are in. It certainly goes against the thought process of keeping moisture out of a watch case, in this instance it is very much inside it.

A black DLC case with amazing openworked movement gives a very interesting, almost steampunky feel about the whole piece. Whilst looking dark and brooding the entire time. The black alligator strap even has red ‘veins’ picked out in the most vivid of reds. Literally a blood red. I don’t know about you but I absolutely love the black and red colour combination, a classic in my opinion that has worked across everything from furniture to cars, jewellery and fashion, amongst others.
